Individual and Class Training Forming Now
At the tender age of 12, amidst my California upbringing, I embarked on a journey into the world of boxing. Within half a year, I transitioned from a mere learner to a competitor in the sport. However, at 15, I temporarily veered away from the ring. A span of thirteen years elapsed before I reignited my commitment, delving into rigorous training. The pivotal year of 2010 marked my entry into the illustrious Golden Gloves competition. Despite reaching the finals, a heartrending disqualification over a mere pound setback dashed my victory hopes.
Yet, in the face of this discouragement, my determination only grew fiercer. The climax of my perseverance arrived in 2011 when I clinched the ultimate glory by securing the Golden Gloves Heavyweight Championship title. This achievement stands atop my ledger, adorned with 30 triumphs, 4 losses, and a solitary "no contest" in my tenure as an amateur pugilist.
With the passage of time, my 36th year saw a transition – I gracefully retired from the pugilistic arena, transitioning into the esteemed role of a licensed Boxer Trainer coach. In this new capacity, I've been blessed to impart my knowledge to a myriad of contenders, nurturing talents across the spectrum from budding amateur boxers to formidable MMA fighters. My commitment to the sport extends to the realm of philanthropy as well, where I've found joy in volunteering with Advocates Boxing Youth, a non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing young boxing enthusiasts.
